RCIC
Baptism of a child 7 years plus:
What Is The RCIC Program
RCIC stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children, the Catholic process for children aged 7-17 who are not baptised and wish to become members of the Church.
It's a program consisting of four sessions; offering spiritual formation that includes prayer, study, and community participation, preparing for the Sacraments of Baptism.
The process is for school-aged children who were either not baptised or baptised in another Christian tradition and want to become Catholic.
